Description: My sister-in-law's rehearsal dinner was at Acacia. I called a week in advance to find out if they offer any gluten free meals. The manager Chad was extremely helpful, and he and the chef were fairly knowledgeable. They did give me crab cakes for an appetizer, and I questioned them. They checked on the ingredients and came back to take the crab cakes away from me, but they substituted them for a nice bowl of fresh fruit. The salad was gluten free, and I had the pork chops for dinner which were delicious. They did give me a baked apple stuffed with oats which I gave to my husband (thankfully it had been on a seperate plate when they served me). I let Chad (the manager) know that oats are on the no-no list. Everybody at Acacia was friendly and extremely helpful. When you eat there, be clear and specific about what you can and cannot eat. If you feel uneasy about something they serve you, ask them to double-check with the chef. If you call Chad the manager ahead of time, he will be very willing to work with you.
