Planning for a Gluten Free Residence Facility

Interested celiacs are meeting to support a residence facility with a gluten free kitchen for those no longer able to live independently.

Our group has co-facilitators:
Jeannine Faidley,
Phoenix Wheeler 751-2332 fenx23@cox.net.

Gluten-Free Lunch Bunch

The Gluten-Free Lunch Bunch is held at a different restaurant on the 2nd Friday every month. It's a great way to actually have worry-free fun eating out. It's also another fine support group event.

We educate chefs & restaurants to our needs as celiacs and they learn from us that there really is a demand for gluten free menus. The only cost for this is what you pay for your own meal.

Roundtable

The Round Table forum meeting place is the Ward Six City Hall. The address is: 3202 E. 1st St - one (1) block east of Country Club and one (1) block South of Speedway. [Map showing location of Ward Six City Hall]

We meet at 1:00 p.m. on the fourth Wednesday of each month.

Everyone usually brings an ingredient-labeled GF treat, we sit around, eat, discuss, vent and laugh. We also pick up tips and information from people who have 'been there; done that'. You do not have to be a member to attend, and you do not have to bring a GF food/recipe to try. Just show up and see if you want to join after a couple of meetings.
